Barcelona are eyeing Aston Villa youngster Carney Chukwuemeka.
The England U19 star has less than a year to run on his current Villa deal with manager Steven Gerrard desperate for him to pen new terms.
The 18 year-old's situation has alerted clubs across Europe, including Manchester United, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund.
And transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims also interested is Barcelona.
He stated: "Barcelona have serious interest in English talent Carney Chukwuemeka, he's appreciated as player with huge potential.
"The player is in the final year of his contract with Aston Villa and would be available for FIFA training compensation in January."
