Barcelona are preparing a new contract offer for Sergi Busquets.
While he was previously preparing to leave for Inter Miami when his contract expires in June, Busquets is now leaning towards remaining in Spain.
Barca coach Xavi has made it clear to Busquets he wants him to stay next season.
Sport says Barca will open talks with their captain in February once the winter market shuts.
However, Busquets will need to accept a hefty pay-cut to extend his stay another 12 months.
