Barcelona president Joan Laporta says the Super League remains alive.
Barca, Real Madrid and Juventus remain the drivers of the rebel competition.
Laporta insists the Super League is needed as opposition to the likes of Manchester City, Newcastle and PSG.
He said on Tuesday: “For now we have no competition format for the Super League, it's a long process, but it serves to make Europe aware that there are 'state-clubs' that are altering the competition.
"There is full willingness to negotiate with UEFA and I think that in the end rough edges will be ironed out and a dialogue will be established."
