Barcelona are keen to extend the loan of Manchester City wing-back Joao Cancelo.
Sport says Barca only want to discuss a new loan, rather than an outright transfer for the Portugal international.
Cancelo joined City in September on-loan without a permanent option.
He has made 38 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals.
Cancelo has a deal with City to 2027.
