Barcelona sports chief Deco has stunned the club by declaring they need to find a coach who will "break" from the club's traditional playing methods.
Deco is actively seeking a replacement for Deco, who will leave at the end of the season.
And he told Nascer do Sol: "The new leadership is essential and the President agrees with me on this. A profound change is needed. There is a method that is exhausted .
"We have to discover someone who breaks with the past once and for all and advances towards a new paradigm.
"We have a serious financial problem on our hands and that was one of the reasons why I was hired. We have no money for the investments made by other millionaire clubs and that discourages any coach.
"At this time we cannot provide these means."
