Barcelona are set to close a deal for Girona midfielder Oriol Romeu.
Barca are to step up talks to sign Romeu after seeing Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic accept a 100m contract from Al-Nassr.
Romeu is aware of Barca's plans and waiting for things to be settled with Girona.
Sport says Barca will aim to reach a deal with Girona over a fee of 15m.
Romeu is a former Barca junior, having left the La Masia academy for Chelsea as a teenager. He returned to Cataluyna with Girona last year from Southampton.
