Barcelona vice-president Rafael Yuste insists Joao Felix remains on their transfer agenda.
On-loan from Atletico Madrid, Felix can be signed permanently at the end of the season.
Yuste told Movistar: "I have been with Joao these days and I see a boy who is happy and who is doing very well as a group.
"Xavi knows what he's doing. Managing a group like Bara is very complicated. He has to handle the pieces in due time, with enough fortitude to give opportunities to all the great players he has on the roster.
"But I am sure that Joao Flix will succeed at Barcelona."
