Barcelona vice-president Rafa Yuste says management are right behind coach Xavi.
Xavi hit out at the players after last night's 3-2 win against Almeria.
Yuste told Movistar: "Xavi says it: we are a real family. It's easy to say, but the feeling is that of unity, of being a block, of always being united. What Xavi and I say, however, is that the environment doesn't help us enough. And that's what the staff, the coach, the team, the president, the management need... That's what we ask for: unity and family."
Yuste specified: "The environment is everything that surrounds us, not just the press. People in general. As Xavi says, the project is progressing well. Now Vitor Roque will arrive and we have a lot of confidence in him, he is a young boy who will contribute in attack.
"Other purchases? Deco is working to understand what is the most urgent need we have due to the loss of Gavi."
