Barcelona won't rush into new contract talks with Alejandro Balde.
The left-sided wing-back has been a revelation for Barca this season after being backed by coach Xavi.
Marca says the young left-back, whose agreement will expire in 2024, has already been contacted by management about new terms, but they have not gone beyond an initial approach.
Barca, however, intend to secure Balde to a new arrangement.
But they believe there is room to do so in a few months, with Barça hoping to resume talks in 2023.
