  • Malignaggi claimed that medical staff in Leeds failed to properly clean his wounds following his fight in October 2025, which led to persistent infections.
  • He stated that some NHS personnel would not be permitted to work with farm animals in the US, let alone human beings in hospitals.
  • A spokesperson for Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust apologised for Malignaggi's wait in their Emergency Department.
  • The Trust explained that patients are prioritised based on clinical need and invited Malignaggi to contact them to discuss his complaint further.
