SEMPORNA: A barge with a load of diesel was reportedly 100 per cent burnt before sinking near Mabul Island, around 6.15pm, on Thursday.
Semporan (Atas Air) Fire and Rescue Station Chief Faisal Ahmad said five officers and members were deployed to the location after receiving an emergency all at 6.20pm.
He said no casualties were reported and the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
