Former Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli insists the players do not deserve excuses for last night's 4-1 thrashing by Empoli.
Juve players went into the game learning 15 minutes before kickoff of their 10-point penalty.
But Barzagli insists: "Among other things, Juventus hadn't started badly.
"Their strength, i.e. their defence, didn't hold up at all. I don't know who to blame.
"There's a mental issue, for these guys, it's also normal. I don't know how much they were distracted by the ruling just before the match, but that was bad, why lose 4-1...?"
