Former Belgium midfielder Walter Baseggio says Charles de Ketelaere isn't worth €35m.
That's the fee AC Milan have paid Club Brugge for the attacker.
Baseggio told TMW: "I'm honest, I don't think he's worth all this money right now. Maybe in a year it will be the right price. I think Milan moved earlier to anticipate the moves of other teams who wanted to buy him.
"Charles has made progress. A giant, he is already part of the national team and his qualities are not discussed. But for me the right price, considering his last two seasons, is 20-25 million.
"But Vincent Mannert (the executive director of Brugge) took advantage of the fact that so many teams wanted him. And knowing him, he is a very smart guy who knew how to raise the price. And that is why the price has gone up exponentially. But I congratulate Milan that they took a player with a lot of quality."
