Bayern Munich sports director Hasan Salihamidzic says they remain determined to sign Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt.
Salihamidzic was in Turin this week for talks with Juve for the Dutchman.
He told Bayern Insider: "It was important to me that we sat around a table with those responsible for Juve: Arrivabene, Cherubini and Pavel Nedved. I played there for four years and have a good relationship with the club.
"We had two conversations, now we have to be patient and see what happens.
"I am an optimistic person."
