Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann was delighted with Joao Cancelo's debut in their German Cup win against Mainz last night.
The on-loan Manchester City fullback impressed Nagelsmann with his energy.
"Joao played really well. He was really creative in his game, which you could see right from the start of the match," said Nagelsmann.
"I think he tried to sprint deep 15 times or something like that. It was really good, and I had no worries about bringing him directly into battle."
Cancelo played 71 minutes for the DFB Pokal win.
