Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has declared Bayer Leverkusen as this season's Bundesliga winners.
The Bavarians' defeat at home against Borussia Dortmund brought down the curtain on their last hopes of being able to worry Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season, with a gap of 13 points that appears now almost unbridgeable.
Bayern coach Tuchel has also now congratulated Xabi Alonso and his Bayer team.
"Is the fight for the title over? Yes, definitely. Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen for winning the Meisterschale," said Tuchel.
