Bayern Munich have failed with an attempt to ferry Oliver Glasner away from Crystal Palace.

Bayern are seeking a new coach with Thomas Tuchel to step down at the end of the season.

Sky Deutschland says Bayern showed interest in Glasner when Ralf Rangnick decided to remain as Austria coach.

However, the 49-year-old Austrian was not open to talks with Bayern as he is happy at Crystal Palace.

Palace also informed Bayern Munich that it has no intention of releasing Glasner.

Glasner, who is under contract until the summer of 2026, has lifted Crystal Palace to twelfth place in the Premier League.
