Bayern Munich are interested in Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
While De Jong resists efforts from Manchester United to take him to England, Bayern have come forward to offer him an alternative departure.
Jijantes says Bayern want to set up a season-long loan arrangement with a permanent option - similar to the deal struck for Philippe Coutinho, now of Aston Villa, two seasons ago.
Bayern would be paying a hefty fee for De Jong's loan and also cover his wages for the season. If an agreement can be struck, the player's departure would be enough to register Jules Kounde with the LaLiga.
While United remain in the frame, in Bayern's favour is the presence of De Jong's good friend Matthijs de Ligt, who made the move from Juventus earlier this summer.
