Bayern Munich are eyeing Manchester United defender Raphael Varane.
The stopper has been unsettled after losing his first-choice status this season.
Varane has started just eight games for United this term.
Sky Deutschland says Bayern are preparing a 20m January move for the veteran Frenchman.
However the real stumbling block would be the Frenchman's wage, which at around 340,000 a week makes him one of the highest paid players at United.
