Bayern Munich are ready to move for Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez.
The Argentina international is viewed at Bayern as an alternative to Tottenham star Harry Kane.
Sky Deutschland says the latest talks between Bayern and the Spurs were positive, but it remains possible the Londoners will not let go the 29-year-old Kane this summer.
In that case, Bayern could try to negotiate a pre-contract with Kane from January 1, with his contract inside it's final year.
As an alternative, Bayern is considering a loan move for City striker Alvarez.
The 23-year-old Argentine made 49 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 17 goals and providing 5 assists.
