New Bayern Munich loan star Joao Cancelo has denied that a training ground bust-up with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola sealed his exit from the club.
Cancelo was a shock departure from City late in the transfer window, with his move to Bayern sealed within one or two days.
However, he has adamantly denied that he had a bust up with ex-Bayern coach Guardiola.
He stated on his unveiling: I've not had much game time in the past few weeks, which influenced my decision.
It has nothing to do with my relationship with Pep."
Cancelo will be hoping to get regular game time at Bayern, as he is known for being a volcano" when he does not play, per The Athletic.
