Bayern Munich signing Sadio Mane admits he spoke to former Liverpool teammate Thiago Alcantara about joining the German giants.
Thiago is a former Bayern player.
"I talked to Thiago when I made my decision. He told me that Bavaria is a fantastic club, that everyone there is friendly and that Munich is a wonderful city. It immediately gave me a good feeling," Mane told BILD.
Mané admits several clubs tried to recruit him.
"Other clubs were interested but my decision was made. I immediately felt that they really wanted me. The way Bayern want to play with me in the future fascinated me. I'm familiar with this high pressure football from my previous clubs. Bayern's system is similar to Liverpool's."
