BBC Question Time audience erupts at bizarre Mr Bean analogy

BBC’s Question Time audience erupted into laughter at an audience member’s bizarre Mr Bean comment.

The episode, which aired on Thursday night (14 May), discussed the tumultuous week for the Labour party, from Wes Streeting’s dramatic resignation as health secretary to Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham appearing set to challenge Sir Keir Starmer as prime minister.

One audience member said: "Talking about the changes, I don't think anyone would be brave enough to do, other than Mr Bean... which he is not an MP.”

Fiona Bruce then interjected, saying, "Well, he's not real apart from anything else,” prompting laughter from the crowd.
