KOTA MARUDU: Community leaders at the grassroots level are encouraged to be active and always go on the ground to update the data and profile of their respective villages.
Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Datuk Redonah Bahanda, said community leaders, especially village heads, are appointed as the government’s eyes and ears to ensure the well-being of the community entrusted to each community leader is protected.
She said village heads act as a bridge to facilitate interaction between the government and the people and to ensure that Government policies are understood correctly by the people.
