Kota Kinabalu: Kunak Assemblywoman Norazlina Arif urged the Federal authorities to take seriously the issue involving the allocation for the participation of athletes from Sabah who are qualified to compete in the State and National-level sporting events.
She said there is still the issue of athletes who fail to participate in any tournament due to not having the financial support or donations they should have received.
“As for the issue that interests me, there is a football team made up of school students from Keningau who failed to participate in the MSSM tournament because they did not have enough funds.
“This issue has been spread on social media, which I think should be taken seriously by the relevant authorities.
