
HEAVY rains caused flash floods at a certain section of the road to Kampung Lubok in Weston, Beaufort, blocking traffic.
A villager Masri Latif said flash floods do occur frequently in the area.
The flash flood happened around 4pm and many road users heading to Kampung Lubok had to wait for hours for the water to recede.
“It was caused by the drainage system being blocked and overgrown with weeds,” he told the Daily Express on Sunday.
