BEAUFORT: The difficulties experienced by residents, especially road users, on the damaged route between Kg Tabuk and Kg Bawang Tengah were finally alleviated thanks to paving works being done by concession company, Kekal Mewah.
Lumadan Assemblyman Datuk Ruslan Muharam said the work involved the two kilometre village road which is a major route for residents in both villages.
According to him, the project’s implementation was the product of his discussion with the concessionaire last week, because the route involved had not been maintained for a long time and was difficult for residents’ vehicles to pass.
“The road from Kg Tabuk to Kg Bawang Tengah is the main route for residents either out to the town or their farms, but it is difficult to drive on because it is damaged and needs immediate maintenance.
