BEAUFORT: A hillside collapsed at Mile 60 and nearly buried the left side of a road, Saturday.
A resident identified as Albert said the incident, located near a quarry, occurred before noon time, when a large rock suddenly rolled and caused the land to slide. “We ask the Public Works Department to take appropriate action to ensure that the road can be repaired,” he said.
