BEAUFORT: The administrative block of SK Lupak here had to be closed following major damage to its roof that was blown away by strong winds on Wednesday.
The 4pm incident caused the entire ceiling of the building that houses the headmaster and senior assistant’s office, teacher, computer and textbook storage rooms to be damaged by rainwater.
SK Lupak Headmaster Sabli Mat Janeh said the loss was estimated at RM100,000, including several computers, textbooks, televisions and various other school assets.
