The Cameron Highlands, situated in the state of Pahang, Malaysia, is a picturesque hill station that dates back to the 19th century. Established by Sir William Cameron, a British colonialist, the highlands were designed to emulate a traditional English village.

The primary goal was to offer a cooler climate and a retreat for lowland residents during the summer months, resulting in noticeable English influences throughout the region. The area boasts unique attractions such as rose and lavender gardens, with strawberry picking being a major draw. Reflecting its British heritage, visitors can stay in colonial-style buildings and indulge in English cream teas. The Cameron Highlands is renowned for its expansive tea plantations, making it an ideal destination for tea enthusiasts.

Boh Tea Plantation, established in 1929, is one of Malaysia's most well-known tea brands. A visit to the Boh Tea Plantation offers a chance to explore the lush green terraces, witness tea harvesting and cultivation, and sample signature brews at the on-site tea shop.

The Time Tunnel, functioning as a museum, offers a glimpse into the history of the Cameron Highlands through various exhibits featuring vintage signs, postcards, photographs, and historical artefacts.

The Lavender Gardens present an aromatic and visually appealing experience, featuring landscaped gardens with walkways for up-close encounters with the lavender fields, a bee history gallery, and a cozy café.

The Big Red Strawberry Farm, renowned for its strawberry production, provides a delightful cafe experience where visitors can savor dishes such as strawberry ice cream made from the farm's own harvest. Recognized for its Steamboat cuisine, the Cameron Highlands offers a unique dining experience akin to European fondue, allowing visitors to cook their own raw ingredients in a bubbling broth.

The Sam Poh Temple, located on a hillside, houses the fourth largest Buddha statue in Malaysia and showcases imperial Chinese artwork and history, providing an intriguing cultural stop in the Cameron Highlands.
