New restaurants in May? How is it possible that we are already past the middle of May? We are so close to reaching June, and that will be half of 2025 gone!

Before May goes off, let’s celebrate by looking at restaurants which opened their doors this month. These range from high-end establishments to budget-friendly eateries, so there’s something for everyone here.

This is a new hangout spot in Chinatown. Here, you have a menu of comfort foods with a slight twist. Expect dishes like honey gochujang chicken, Thai tomyum pasta and baja fish tacos. A good place to fill up before heading out for a rave in town.

Pizza fans are in for a treat here. If you want to try Roman-style pizzas, this is the place to go to. This restaurant is located in Bukit Damansara’s Bambino KL, a lively spot all around. Do treat yourself to a slice of Pork Pepperoni while you’re here!

PJ Hilton has been around for ages, but it recently went through a major renovation. It has since reopened and Rye is a new speakeasy located on its premises. Hidden away from public eye, you can get unique cocktails here, surrounded by private elegance.
