- A man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Belfast that left the victim with significant injuries to his face, neck, and back.
- The arrested individual is believed to be Somalian and in his 30s, following the incident which occurred around 10.30pm on Monday in Kinnaird Avenue.
- The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed the arrest and stated that the injured man was taken to hospital, with the scene remaining cordoned off for investigation.
- Political representatives, including North Belfast MP John Finucane and local DUP councillor Jordan Doran, expressed shock and concern for community safety, urging anyone with information to assist the police.
- Authorities are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward and contact the police regarding the incident.
