Belgium coach Roberto Martinez has described Everton midfielder Amadou Onana as an extremely special player.
The former Toffees manager spoke about the 21-year-old summer signing from Lille in glowing terms recently.
While Onana has still been easing into life at Goodison Park, he has already shown flashes of his quality in the Premier Leaguet his season.
"He has adapted very well," said Martinez to RTBF.
"Amadou now plays in the Premier League, which will only make him stronger.
"He has physical qualities that we haven't seen since Fellaini. He is also a leader. Despite his age he already has a lot of experience.
“Amadou has already played in three top European competitions: the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and now the Premier League. That's special. He is a very useful player."
