A police report has been lodged following egregious comments directed towards the fallen soldiers involved in the tragic helicopter crash during a drill at the Royal Malaysian Navy Base (TLDM) Lumut.
Kamal Abas, a respected Media Practitioner aged 51, took decisive action by filing the report at the Kerian District Police Headquarters against the individual on platform X.
The offending comment, "Baru raptai dah mampus. Tak sempat nak perang." was deemed deeply disrespectful by Kamal, especially considering the mourning families and citizens coping with the loss of their loved ones.
Expressing hope for the authorities to administer appropriate punishment as a deterrent, Kamal urged social media users witnessing similar derogatory posts to promptly report them to the police.
