- Ben Affleck has revealed why his ex-wife Jennifer Garner stepped back from starring in his upcoming Netflix crime thriller, Animals.
- Garner was initially cast opposite Matt Damon, but after production delays led to Affleck taking on the lead role himself, the former couple decided against playing a married couple on screen.
- Affleck explained that both agreed their real-life history would create unnecessary baggage for the audience and work against the film.
