Ben&Ben releases ‘Autumn (Reimagined)’

Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben has released “Autumn (Reimagined),” a new version of its 2023 track that explores themes of longing, healing and emotional growth.

The release follows the success of “Lifetime (Reimagined),” which reached No. 1 on both the Official Philippines Chart and the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.

According to the band, “Autumn (Reimagined)” features expanded instrumentation and a fuller arrangement compared to the original version.

“We added more electric guitars, synth layers, violin lines and a stronger beat to the song to create contrast between the heaviness of the emotion and the upbeat sound,” Paolo Benjamin said.

“If ‘Lifetime’ is about grieving a love that never happened, ‘Autumn’ is about trying to move forward even when it’s difficult,” he added.

Beyond its updated production, the song introduces new verses centered on healing and learning to choose oneself.

The track is part of a bundled release containing both the original and reimagined versions of “Autumn” and “Lifetime.” The band said the project was designed as an EP-like release that reflects themes of “bittersweetness,” reflection and yearning for its fan community, Liwanag.

“To be honest, we were excited to continue the story for Liwanag, so the journey of processing emotions could carry deeper meaning and give people more companions through it,” Benjamin said.

He added: “We hope that they find this song painfully uplifting.”

“Autumn (Reimagined)” is now available on digital music platforms through Sony Music Entertainment.
