
Liverpool teenager Ben Trueman has signed his first professional contract with the Anfield club.
The 17-year-old has been with the Reds since the age of five, having been born in the Whiston area.
The scholar has played with Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's U18s squad so far this season.
Per the club website, Trueman has put pen to paper on a deal that will see him spend the next few years at Melwood.
The youngster is renowned for his impressive passing ability, along with very accurate set-pieces.
