Benfica coach Roger Schmidt has rejected the chance to sign Manchester United fullback Alex Telles.
Telles is available from United after spending last season on-loan with Sevilla.
The defender helped Sevilla move away from the dropzone and also contributed to the Europa League title winning campaign. However, Sevilla management have passed on keeping him.
The Brazil fullback was offered to Benfica, but Schmidt has rejected the prospect, reports Record.
Telles remains up for sale at United, where he is not in manager Erik ten Hag's plans.
