Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari met Governor R N Ravi at the Lok Bhavan here on Wednesday, amid speculation of an impending Cabinet expansion of the newly formed BJP government in West Bengal.
The meeting was held for more than half an hour, but what transpired was not immediately known, sources said.
Adhikari’s meeting with Ravi comes against the backdrop of speculations about an impending Cabinet expansion of the newly formed BJP government in the state.
Adhikari took oath as Chief Minister on May 9 along with five other ministers at the Brigade Parade ground here in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other top BJP leadership.
