Rafa Benitez admits Luis Campos was key to his move to Celta Vigo.
Campos is an advisor to Celta, while holding a similar role with PSG.
Benitez told AS: "My agent calls me through Lus Campos, he explains to me that it is the club's Centennial and that they want to do a nice project.
"Then I spoke with Marin and Carlos Mourio and everything is going sensational. I also talk to my family because my wife is very fond of Celta because she is from the land. I see that there is room for improvement and I like the idea.
"I see that people support, trust and maintain enthusiasm. That's why it makes me even more angry that I'm not winning."
Asked if he'd like Campos to be more involved at Celta, Benitez also said: "I focus on what we have and I talk to Juan Carlos Calero every day."
