The Real Madrid legend has also denied claims of a rift with coach Marcelo Gallardo.
Benzema featured for Al-Ittihad in their Champions League win against Uzbek side Navbahor Namangan.
He said: "I'm back and now I'm better. The story of my departure is not true and I'm happy in Saudi Arabia.
"I have no problems with Gallardo, everyone who they say I want to return to Europe, they are liars. I am very happy at Al Ittihad. For my part, I have no problems with anyone. Ask the coach about my absence, I was ready for the internship in Dubai."
