BeONE Mobile has officially launched in Malaysia, offering prepaid plans with up to 550GB of monthly data while running on the Maxis network.
According to BeONE Mobile, its prepaid offering combines mobile connectivity with a community-based agent model, where customers can get assistance from local agents for registration, network switching and customer support.
Launched back in 2021, BeONE Mobile was previously known as BeONE Prepaid and operated under RedONE. Effective 30 January 2026, BeONE became a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) powered by the Maxis Network.
For its prepaid offering, BeONE Mobile currently offers monthly plans starting from RM25 for customers who port in their existing number. Meanwhile, customers who sign up for a new number can get 150GB from RM30/month.
BeONE Mobile plans for port-in (MNP) customers
If you’re switching from another telco and want to retain your existing number via Mobile Number Portability (MNP), BeONE Mobile’s monthly plans start from RM25.
Here are the monthly plans for MNP customers:
- M25 – RM25/month: 150GB
- M38 – RM38/month: 350GB
- M48 – RM48/month: 500GB + 50GB
The monthly plans come with unlimited calls to all networks, while the 5G data offers speeds up to 1000Mbps with data sharing enabled.
For the M48 plan, the 550GB data actually consists of 500GB domestic data and 50GB for data roaming in Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore.
BeONE Mobile plans for new customers
If you’re signing up for a new BeONE Mobile number, the monthly plans start from RM30.
Here are the monthly plan options:
- M30 – RM30/month: 150GB
- M38 – RM38/month: 300GB
- M48 – RM48/month: 400GB + 50GB
All plans come with speeds of up to 1000Mbps and data sharing is enabled. For the M48 plan, it comes with 400GB of domestic data and 50GB of roaming in Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore.
Besides its monthly plans, BeONE Mobile also offers a daily, weekly and annual plan options, listed as follows:
- Daily – RM3/day: 3GB
- Weekly – RM12/week: 15GB
- Yearly – RM38/year (validity): No data
- Yearly – RM58/year: 5GB
From the four options above, only the weekly option has unlimited calls to all networks. All bundled data comes with speeds of up to 1000Mbps with data sharing capability.
BeONE Mobile Community-focused Programmes
As part of its official launch, BeONE Mobile introduced an Entrepreneurship Programme for the eHailing Community, which allows eHailing drivers to become BeONE Mobile agents while continuing their existing jobs. Participants will receive training, digital tools and BeONE Mobile products and services to introduce to their networks.
It also introduced a Community SIM Initiative, starting in Lembah Pantai. Under the initiative, local residents can obtain a BeONE Community SIM offering additional data to support digital access.
BeONE Mobile says its agent programme will initially focus on groups including B40 households, youths, gig workers and small traders.
BeONE Mobile CEO Ameen Amaendran said: “BeONE is a homegrown brand built on one simple idea: you should be served by someone from your own community, before the sale and long after it. Our agents don’t need a shopfront or capital to start. They need training and the right tools, and we give them both. The digital skills they build belong to them, whatever they do next.”
Ameen shared that BeONE pays their agents incentives on a daily basis and they are the only MVNO to do so. He said if an agent signs up 10 lines today, tomorrow they would get about RM200 in their bank account.
