PAS has rejected the assumption that it was siding with any camp following the dismissal of Bersatu leaders and members.
PAS Secretary-General Datuk Seri Takiyudin Hassan said, on the contrary, the party did not interfere in the turmoil that occurred within Bersatu.
"If anyone says PAS is on the side or camp of Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, that is not true because we do not side with any party or are in any camp.
"Not only in Bersatu, other parties in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) also do not interfere, but rather only manage their own parties,” he said.
Yesterday, it was reported that a total of 17 Bersatu leaders were sacked by the party's Disciplinary Board.
The latest was the sacking of Hamzah, who was also the Bersatu Deputy President.
Immediately after his sacking, Hamzah uploaded a photo of himself with PAS President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang and the PAS leadership having tea. – February 14, 2026
