Kuala Lumpur: Bersatu will write an official letter to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) seeking the release of its accounts, says party president Muhyiddin Yassin.
At a press conference here, Muhyiddin said MACC should immediately cancel the freeze if it did not find any proof of misappropriation of funds or abuse of power in Bersatu’s accounts.
“This is important, so that the administration of Bersatu can go on smoothly, and our workers can be paid,” said the former prime minister, who is also the Perikatan Nasional chairman.
