Besiktas have released Eric Bailly from his contract.
The former Manchester United defender signed for the Black Eagles only last summer.
On December 11, Besiktas had declared: "It is announced that Vincent Aboubakar, Valentin Rosier, ric Bailly, Rachid Ghezzal and Jean Onana were dropped from the team due to poor performance and incompatibility."
Bailly has now had his contract terminated and agent Rafaela Pimenta said: We are shocked, the suspension took us by surprise. We are preparing our reaction because we know Eric did nothing wrong.
"The player's rights have been violated and we will make sure they are protected."
