Kota Kinabalu: Eleven communities/ participants across Borneo will be highlighting handmade crafts at the “Crafts Across Borders” exhibition to be launched at Borneo Cultures Museum in Kuching early next month.

Joining the exhibition dubbed as “Serumpun”, three participants from Sabah namely, Jennifer Paul Linggi, Rasmah Rumambai (beads) and Emily Jeneble (Bamboo crafts).

Three from Sarawak namely Ranee (Betong Women Weavers), Tuyang Initiatives and Salomon Gau while the rest are from Indonesia, Handep (Palangkaraya), Sarantangan (Singkawang), Manai Jagoi – Bidai Community + Rattan Community (Jagoi), Sepatokimin Initiative (Singk-awang + Sambas Songket Community, Sepatokimin Initiative + Manai Jagoi – Rattan Archiving project (Jagoi) respectively.
