Next time you find yourself in London and craving the delightful flavours of roti canai, a must-try dish from a local mamak coffeeshop, make your way to either Roti King at Euston or at Battersea These establishments are renowned for serving the finest roti canai in the UK.
Roti King can be found at 40 Doric Way, London NW1 1LH, United Kingdom. Their signature dish, as described by them, consists of soft, flaky, freshly made roti canai served with a choice of kari options, including chicken, lamb, fish, or dhal. For more information, you can visit their Facebook page.
In addition to their delectable roti canai, Roti King offers a range of other delicious local Malaysian cuisine. One of my personal favorites is their curry laksa. Their tagline says it all: "Simple, delicious, and authentic Malaysian dishes."
If you're near the Grosvenor Bridge railway arches, be sure to visit Roti King Battersea, where you'll find an exciting mix of restaurants, bars, shops, and leisure facilities in Circus West Village, located next to Battersea Brewery. Roti King Battersea aims at bringing the same authentic Malaysian dishes, prepared by Head Chef and Owner Sugen Gopal, to new parts of London.
Their menu features four different options for roti canai, each accompanied by curries of chicken, mutton, fish, or dhal. Additionally, they offer mouthwatering Murtabak with a variety of fillings.
While the Euston branch of Roti King encourages you to bring your own drinks, the Battersea outlet provides a selection of South Asian beers and canned wines for diners.
Roti King Battersea operates as a walk-in restaurant and also offers takeaway and delivery options. However, it's important to note that queues can be long, so it's recommended to arrive early.
The Euston branch often has a line extending outside the station, but rest assured, the wait is worth it as it will transport you back home and leave you fully satisfied. You can even watch a video from Roti King to get a glimpse of their culinary expertise.
Keep in mind that the last order is at 9:45 pm, so plan accordingly to enjoy the incredible food from Roti King.
