Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda said Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has proven to be a complete failure in preventing paper leaks and should therefore accept moral responsibility by resigning from his post.

Hooda praised the Students’ Voice (Chhatron Ki Goonj) rally organised by Rahul Gandhi in Kota, remarking that Gandhi is raising the concerns of youth and students distressed by paper leaks and unemployment. “The issues raised by Rahul Gandhi and the demand for the Education Minister’s resignation are entirely justified,” he said.

Responding to media questions in Sonepat, Hooda demanded that the government convene a special session of the Legislative Assembly to address the deteriorating law and order situation. He stated that law and order in the state has completely collapsed.

“In the central government’s own Social Progress Index, Haryana has been declared the most unsafe state in the country. According to the latest NCRB report, Haryana ranks fourth nationwide in cases of organised crime,” he said.
