Barcelona have clinched the signing of Las Palmas whizkid Pedri.
Barca have coughed up 5m to sign the 16 year-old, who has been immediately loaned back to the Segunda Division club.
Pedri has signed with Barca to 2022- which will be extended to 2024 once he joins the Catalans formally.
Chelsea were also seriously interested in him, although the priority of the player was always to remain in Spain because he thinks his style of play is better suited at home.
Pedri's deal had carried a 30m buyout clause, but Las Palmas needed to sell yesterday to help balance the books.
