MANILA, Philippines — A bicameral committee on Thursday approved the proposed Basic Education Voucher Assistance Act.
Akbayan Rep. Jose Manuel Diokno announced the approval on his Facebook page.
The panel harmonized House Bill 4744 and Senate Bill 10981.
It was led by Second Congressional Commission on Education (Edcom 2) co-chairmen Sen. Paolo Benigno Aquino 4th, Pasig Rep. Roman Romulo, and Tingog Rep. Jude Acidre, the Edcom 2 said in its Facebook page.
